Other News:

The weather threatened to make us miserable on Heritage Day, but despite the clouds and a little rain in the afternoon, we had a great Heritage Day again this year.  Thanks to all who came out and joined us for some good music, good food, lots of craters and vendors and games for the kids to play.

The Western Music Association and the Pikes Peak Cowboy Gathering shows were a huge success.  The Old School House was packed for both shows.  Thanks to all the people who came out for the shows and for the WMA for providing great entertainment all day at the Florissant Grange.

Please join us at all our events.Your donation at these events go toward “TheOLD SCHOOL HOUSE” renovation projects. Our new roof is on and looks amazing.  Thank you to all who donated specifically to the roof project and to those who join us at events that help us Raise the Roof.  Our next project has not been determined yet… but we need to rebuild the Front and Kitchen stairs, refinish the floors, re-carpet the stage and update the Kitchen.  So please keep those donations coming in.  You are what makes it possible for the Grange to stay open and provide events for our community to enjoy.  Please feel free to make a contribution. Your contributions can be tax deductible through the PICK Foundation (People Improving Communities and Kids), a State Grange 501c3 organization. Just ask any Grange member for the tax deduction form and we will be happy to get that to you for your generous donation. If you are writing a check, please make your check payable to PICK and write ‘Florissant Grange’ in the notes area. All donations made to the Florissant Grange through PICK go directly to your Florissant Grange. Thank you in advance for helping us while we raise the necessary funds for the ongoing renovation of the Old School House, Grange Hall.

What is the Grange?

We receive many questions about the Florissant Grange Organization and the answer to most of these questions, are:  The Grange Organization is a Fraternal Organization that is centered on Community Service.

We are dedicated to our Community and we thrive on community support.  We are open to everyone and invite everyone to join us at all our activities and meetings.  We love to gain new members and encourage everyone to join.  You do not have to be a member to come to our events or to come to our meetings.  If you are curious about us – come see what we are all about.  We have a very corny motto, but it is true to its word… “You are never a stranger if you are a Granger.”  Join us anytime.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend our monthly meetings.  Come see what the Grange is all about. We are not a closed organization and we encourage everyone to join us.  We would love to have you as a member because we are here for YOU.

Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 5:30
